Uniform

Whenever I feel like I don't know what to wear, I just whip out my uniform.

Simple black trousers, a light coloured top and easy accesories. Voila!

I'm in the process of revamping my wardrobe, adding new things and saying good bye to some old!

I'm currently into pieces that can give me more than one look and this knit jumper is such a piece! I love the texture and shape of it and I know I can style it as often as I like! :)

Anyone been keeping up with the London 2012 Olympic games? I'm strangely fixated to it!

Summertime at the lake.

Yesterday was one of my favourite days, ever! I got to hang out with my family in a very lovely park, with a lake, swans and a little beach! The sun was out and all around were happy faces! It was beautiful! Mummy who hasn't been feeling too well really enjoyed herself and seeing her so unbelievably happy and calm was one of the best feelings in the world!

As you can see, I went very casual. I absolutely love this crochet top from Zara, and as someone rightly mentioned, all my clothes are pretty much Zara! Haha! Who can blame me though? Their Summer collection was just needed!

Smitten with Mint

Ever had one of those new purchases that you can't wait to wear, so you just make use of the next available opportunity to? Even if it's just for lunch and a mooch around in the city? Yes. This mint number is my new buy from Zara. I tell you, Zara have my heart at the moment and I can't be held responsible for the damage it does to my pocket when I go in! 

For the styling, I took inspiration from my lovely friend Charlotte who has the same dress and accessorised it with a pair of snakeskin heels, and went along with this theme with the bag I chose.

I've been promising to put up a haul video/post for forever! I will do, just as soon as I retrieve some packages that I've been waiting for...on the agenda today!

I'm wearing these new Zara heels (what beauties) and I love the way it adds a bit more character to this simple Jeans & Tee get-go!

Rihanna covers Harper's Bazaar US

I was doing my usual internet stalk when I came across these extremely gorgeous images of Rihanna. Now we are no strangers to Miss Rih's beauty, but she looks amazing in these photographs shot by Camilla Akrans (who has excepetional talent when it comes to the lens and has worked with Rihanna on the Album Cover for 'Loud") for Harper's Bazaar US.

I will have to make my way down to the stationery section in Selfridges to get my hands on this issue when it comes out here!

My Style Crushes

Often times I'm asked who's style I'm inspired by or who I look up to as my style icon, and these four ladies instantly come to mind.
When it comes to Miro, Olivia, Hanelli & Solange, I have what you may call a style crush on all of them.

Miroslava Duma

This petite beauty has been snapped by the likes of The Sartorialist and has become a favourite by other Street Style Royalty. Her effortless style paired with her perfect accesories always leave me in a state of awe.

Olivia Palermo

I've had the joy of meeting this beautiful lady, who is just as gorgeous in real life as she is on screen. Her style is the epitome of elegance. From the way she dresses to the way she walks. Love.

Hanneli Mustaparta

Hanneli, Hanneli, how cute can anyone one be? This Model/Photographer is minimal and chic all in one. It's always a joy going through her blog!

Solange Knowles

All About Black.

Just as my sister pointed out to me this morning, I hardly ever wear all black. I tend to shy away from it, for reasons I'm not entirely sure of, but today I decided to live on the edge and go for such an ensemble! 

It's hard to believe that we're in July as the weather feels more like early spring/late autumn, but that's good Ol' Britain for you. In my bag I have an umbrella, sunglasses and scarf because here, one can experience all seasons in just one day! Haha!
